Evaluation coach

Heather is an evaluation coach with InWithForward.  She is motivated to help people and organizations make sense of data and use it to their advantage.  With this intention Heather created Blossom, a data strategy consultancy that works with organizations across sectors.  A social scientist by training, Heather earned her PhD studying cheating and dishonesty, advised by behavioural economist Dan Ariely.  Heather has since helped to launch Brighter Investment (a social enterprise offering new vehicles to finance higher education), led research and analytics at Ayogo (a digital health company supporting patient engagement), and consulted for non-profit, for-profit, and social enterprise organizations.  Heather sees data as a catalyst for change, and is inspired by its potential to promote organizational integrity and lasting innovation. Fun facts: Heather lives in Vancouver’s first cohousing community.  Her lie detection sensors are finely tuned after many years of study.
