(Re)Engaged Volunteerism: Crisis or Continuity

This work offers paradigmatic shifts in how we frame and understand the value of volunteering, identifies actionable insights, and offers five opportunity areas, each with concrete ideas for further experimentation and action learning.

Based on the experiences of everyday Albertans in three cities from across the province, this work is ultimately intended as a launchpad for further exploration and prototyping to reimagine how volunteerism can meet both societal needs and individuals’ desires for connection and purpose.
