Want to learn about
Grounded Change?

In the Fall of 2014, we hosted 3 online seminars to dig beneath the rhetoric and look at real practice. We gave participants articles to read, reflective questions to munch on, and practical examples to grasp!

We started by prototyping a first seminar, and getting some flattering feedback. “That was the most engaging webinar I’ve been in,” one participant wrote us. In spite of the nice words, we still aren’t quite sold on the Webinar format, so we’ll be tweaking and trying new ways to bring the content alive in the future.

Until then, here’s how we framed our Fall 2014 seminars…

Nov 21, 12pm-1.30pm ET

Building capacity to innovate in services & systems

How do we get out of the trap of meetings, workshops, and planning sessions? And actually think and do differently? What’s it take to organize work from the bottom-up, rather than the top-down?

Nov 28 & Dec 5, 12pm-1.30pm ET

Making solutions for Impact (two-part seminar)

What are the missing mechanisms between policy, services, and outcomes (that aren’t in your theory of change)?

Explore how these 7+ mechanisms can apply to your programs and policies.

We know the times of the seminars aren’t friendly to our friends in Australia and New Zealand. If you’d like to join, leave us a
note, and we’ll find a way for you to take part.
